Starting from this September 1, 2025, the new version of our General Terms of Use (GTU) officially comes into effect.
This document is a legally binding contract between you and Chariow. It sets out your rights, your obligations, and the rules around using the platform.

This update was published on August 28, 2025 and highlights a few key points every user should know:

Major points to remember:

• Creator responsibility and intellectual property
  You are solely responsible for the legality, quality, and compliance of the products you offer. You must have all the required rights (copyrights, trademarks, licenses) to sell your content.

• Prohibited activities
  Strictly prohibited: fraud, reselling unauthorized content, false advertising, bypassing commissions, distributing illegal content, misleading business practices, and not respecting others' rights.

• Following community rules
  Any disrespectful behavior (harassment, hate speech, threats, spam) can lead to immediate action, from product removal up to permanent account suspension.

• KYC and regulatory compliance
  Chariow can ask for a full identity verification at any time (ID, proof of address, bank details). This step is necessary to keep selling or receiving your earnings.

• Liability limits and guarantees
  Our services are provided "as is". Chariow’s responsibility is limited and defined. This means you should always make sure you meet your own legal and tax obligations

Why is it essential to read these T&Cs?

Because the T&Cs aren’t just some boring legal stuff buried at the bottom of the page:
- They are the contract framework that sets the rules for how you use Chariow.
- They lay out what you can and can’t do, and what can happen if you break the rules.
- They protect both your rights as a creator and the safety of the entire community.

What we’re asking from you:

We encourage every user to carefully check out this new version to avoid any future misunderstandings.
Not knowing the T&Cs can’t be used as an excuse if you break the rules.
