Chariow wasn't born on a whim. It is the fruit of deep perseverance, meticulous observation and relentless work, started at the end of 2022.

We identified a painful reality that spoke to many Africans: too many talented creators, unique know-how in Africa, but a glaring difficulty in monetizing them online. Technical barriers, unsuitable solutions, payment complexity... It's from this observation, from this unmet need, that Chariow began to come to life.

In March 2023, after months of research and in-depth studies, the idea took shape. We dreamed of a solution that would be much more than a simple platform: a bridge. A bridge between our creators' knowledge and the world.

The name Chariow was born from a naming workshop, as we like to organize at home when an idea deserves a strong identity. It's a meaningful fusion between "Chariot" and "Online World" that evokes a tool designed to transport your creations to a fluid and accessible digital world.

October 2023: Implementation on social networks. It was during this period that we created our Facebook page and our other social media accounts. It wasn't yet known to everyone, but it was an essential first step to lay the foundations of our online presence.

In September 2024, development enters its concrete phase. With a refined visual identity, every pixel of design, every line of code, every feature has been thought out with one obsession: that it be simple for you, efficient for you, profitable for you.

And above all, we spent time interviewing dozens of creators... Their feedback, their frustrations, their aspirations sculpted every feature of the platform.

After years of labor, overcome doubts, unwavering passion, and notably a true launch strategy, testing and iterations, Chariow finally made itself fully available on January 23, 2025. Not as a simple product, but as a promise.
